Acknowledgement of Risk & Release of Liability

By registering for or participating in an event with the Redwood Shores Tennis Club, I agree to release the Redwood Shores Tennis Club, its officers, members and any other agents, and the City of Redwood City from any and all liability for damages of any kind or nature, including but not limited to:

• Any injury, illness (including COVID-19), or damage to person or property arising out of or incidental to my presence or participation in the event.
• If I am registering for my minor child: any injury, illness (including COVID-19) or damage to person or property arising out of or incidental to my child's presence or participation in the event.
• Loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, whether arising out of or in connection with use of the Website.

I acknowledge that the Club has asked all Members and guests to refrain from participating if they are experiencing any signs of respiratory illness such as a fever, cough, shortness of breath or loss of smell or taste. By attending the event, I attest that I do not have any of these symptoms and have not had a fever within 24 hours of the event.

Any Member or guest who experiences these symptoms while attending is instructed to leave immediately, inform the Club President, contact their healthcare provider and follow guidelines established by the CDC. By executing or acknowledging this consent and acknowledgement, I hereby certify the statements set forth herein on the date of certification.

While I understand that the Club has taken what it, in its sole discretion, deems to be reasonable steps to attempt to prevent its members and guests from contracting the Covid-19 virus, I am electing to participate in the Club activity at my own risk and notwithstanding any actions or inactions taken by the Club.
