We had an incredible month of June, both on and off the courts, with our Wimbledon Whites Tournament and the Strawberries and Cream social in the park.

What a beautiful day for Wimbledon at Redwood Shores! Our players embraced the tradition by arriving in classic all-white tennis attire, making the courts look every bit as elegant as the All England Club---close matches, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs made for a fantastic day on the courts.

Our winners took home Wimbledon-inspired highball glasses featuring either tennis balls or strawberries—a perfect keepsake from a wonderful day of tennis! Thanks to Robin for finding these great prizes.

Wimbledon Ice Cream Social
After the tournament, everyone gathered at Shorebird Park for a delicious Wimbledon-themed social featuring deli sandwiches, coleslaw, chips, homemade cookies, and build-your-own ice cream sundaes with all the toppings—including the Wimbledon classic, strawberries and cream!

A Big Thank You
Special thanks to Akosua for the creative announcement, organizing the draw with Robin, and court assignments; Steve for court setup and cleanup. Mel for organizing the sandwiches, John for hosting the fantastic ice cream social, and Penny & Bob Evans for generously storing the ice cream in their freezer, and everyone who brought water, fruit, snacks, treats, and helped before and after the event. Your teamwork made the day a great success!
